Description
3M™ 769F Flap Disc 4 1/2″ X 7/8″ Type 27 Grade 40+ 05903
1 each – Genuine 3M™ 769F 4 1/2″ X 7/8″ Type 27 Flap Disc Grade 40+ lasts longer and removes more material than competitive abrasives in mild or carbon steel grinding and finishing applications. 3M precision-shaped ceramic triangular grain cuts metal faster and stays cooler, when compared to traditional aluminum oxide or alumina zirconia flap discs. Unlike most grinding abrasives, the 3M 769F grain stays sharp for the life of the disc. Sharper abrasives result in increased speed, reduced heat input and dramatically lower labor costs. The 769F’s backing is designed to wear just the right amount, to provide a consistent cut over a wide range of medium and heavy-duty applications.
The 769F Flap Disc is ideal for grinding, beveling and deburring on all types of mild and carbon steels. It features grade 40+ (40 grit) abrasive material that leaves behind a coarse finish. The 769F operates at 13,300 max RPM and is designed to be used with right angle grinders.
Applications
Features
Uses Precision Shaped Grain, a proprietary technology designed with sharp, angular structures that continuously fracture to form sharp points to wear evenly, run cool, and optimize mineral breakdown
Lasts up to 68% longer and removes up to 77% more material than competitive flap discs
Type 27 depressed center is ideal for medium to heavy grinding applications, such as medium to high-pressure grinding, weld removal, blending, beveling and deburring
Requires less pressure to use, enabling predictable wear while helping to reduce metal discoloration and the risk of stress cracks on mild or carbon steels
Maintains super-sharp points that cut exceptionally fast along the entire life of the flap disc across a range of application pressures
Designed to deliver more parts completed per disc while cutting down on abrasive waste, reducing changeouts or downtime
